About Spiritual Training
I’m sure you’re aware of how essential it is for you to be balanced and healthy in Body, Mind and Spirit. When you want to improve your Physical Fitness, you work with a personal trainer at a gym. When you want to improve your Spiritual Fitness, you work with a Spiritual Trainer, like me.
The goal of Spiritual Training is to support you in creating and following a personal, daily spiritual practice that will strengthen your Spiritual Muscles. While Physical Fitness means that you have energy and look good in a bathing suit, Spiritual Fitness means that you experience more Joy, Love, Freedom, Prosperity, Abundance, and FUN in every area of your life.
You may already be a spiritual seeker, and very familiar with the Spiritual Truths and techniques that I employ. However, knowing about these Truths is not enough to experience the results that you desire. You have to actually use them. Sometimes the greatest value in hiring me as your Spiritual Trainer is not that you’ll learn anything new, but that you’ll actually begin to implement the things that you already know.
If you’re entirely new to a spiritual path, working with me as your Spiritual Trainer is an excellent way to become acclimated to Universal Law. As you begin to develop your Spiritual Muscles, this foundation will support you in whatever path you are drawn to.
Spiritual Training is very different from therapy. Therapy is concerned with how you got to where you are. Spiritual Training is concerned with helping you to map out the shortest route from where you are in this moment, to where you want to be, and providing you with the tools and the support to follow that path.
That being said, a lot of the techniques I will use during your Spiritual Training sessions resemble cognitive therapy techniques used in more traditional disciplines. I draw heavily on my work as an archetypal astrologer, and on my training as a spiritual counselor. During our training sessions, I will gently and lovingly question your story, offering different context and perspective, and the opportunity to make more elegant choices.
My ultimate objective is to train you and support you in developing your Spiritual Muscles, so that you are confident in your ability to master any challenge that you encounter on your path. I’ve found that six sessions in a three-month period is the optimal package for most people. This seems to provide just the right amount of support over a long enough time to allow your Spiritual Muscles to develop and your daily spiritual practice to become an established and cherished part of your routine.

About Kevin B. Burk
Kevin B. Burk is an internationally-acclaimed astrologer, author, relationship coach and spiritual counselor. He holds a Level IV certification in Astrological Counseling from NCGR, he is an MTI Certified Mediator of Workplace Conflict, and he is a graduate of the Holmes Institute Professional Practitoner Studies program.
Kevin has taught astrology, relationship and relationship astrology workshops in cities across the United States. He has been helping clients worldwide to improve every aspect of their lives since 1996.
Kevin launched his "Spiritual Training" practice in 2008 with the intention of creating a model that would provide practical support and training to enable his clients to experience meaningful and lasting improvements in the qualitity of their lives.
Kevin works with clients via telephone, and also sees clients in person in his totally awesome counseling space in La Mesa, California, just east of San Diego.
